This 250mm twin wheel fixed gantry castor carries up to 3500kg per castor on two large orange polyurethane on cast iron wheels side by side. A heavy fabricated, welded steel housing keeps the wheels running straight, making it the partner for matching 250mm swivel gantry castors on the heaviest gantries and transport platforms.
Fixed castors give straight line tracking and help steer very heavy loads in a controlled way. The large twin wheels with an 80mm tread spread the load and roll over joints easily, and a strong 255 x 245mm top plate with four 16mm holes bolts flat under the frame. The overall height is 356mm.
