316 Stainless Steel Bolt Hole Castor
This 100mm braked swivel castor is made from 316 grade stainless steel and runs on a hard-wearing white nylon wheel, carrying up to 150kg per castor. 316 stainless gives extra corrosion resistance against salt, chemicals and strong cleaning agents, so it suits hospital, pharmaceutical, food and marine equipment.
A foot-operated brake locks the wheel so the equipment stays put while it is loaded or cleaned. The nylon wheel runs on a plain bearing and rolls easily on smooth floors. A single 12mm bolt hole fits into the end of a tube leg or onto a threaded fixing, and the castor works from -40°C to +80°C.

How does the brake work?
Press the foot pedal down to lock the wheel, and lift it to release. The brake stops the wheel from rolling.
What is the difference between 316 and standard stainless steel?
316 grade stainless contains molybdenum, which gives it better resistance to salt water, chemicals and chlorine-based cleaners than standard 304 stainless.
How is it fitted?
It has a single 12mm bolt hole. Fit it with a matching 12mm bolt or threaded stem, or use a matching tube adaptor to fit it into a round or square tube leg.
