Description
75mm Swivel Braked Castor Wheel
Grey Rubber on Polypropylene | 4-Hole Zinc Plated Top Plate | 70kg Load Capacity
Product Overview
This 75mm swivel castor with integrated brake is a precision-engineered mobility solution designed for light to medium-duty applications across commercial, industrial, and domestic environments. Fitted with a grey rubber tyre bonded to a polypropylene centre wheel, it delivers smooth, quiet rolling on hard and semi-hard floor surfaces while protecting against surface marking. The pressed steel, zinc plated 4-hole top plate provides a secure, corrosion-resistant mounting platform, and the locking brake mechanism allows the castor to be immobilised instantly — making it an essential component wherever controlled movement and positional stability are required.
Key Features
Swivel Action
Full 360-degree rotation for maximum manoeuvrability in tight spaces.
Integrated Brake

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the maximum load this castor can support?
Each castor is individually rated to 70kg. When used as a set of four, the recommended maximum load for the entire unit is 210kg. This accounts for the natural variation in load distribution across all four castors during movement.
Will this castor mark or damage my floor?
The grey rubber tyre is designed to be non-marking on most hard floor surfaces including tile, vinyl, laminate, and sealed concrete. It also absorbs vibration and reduces rolling noise, making it suitable for environments where floor protection and quiet operation are important.
How do I fit this castor to my equipment?
This castor uses a 4-hole top plate mounting system. The plate measures 60mm x 60mm with hole centres of 48mm x 38mm and a hole diameter of 6mm. It is bolted directly to the underside of your equipment using four M6 bolts (not included). Ensure the mounting surface is flat and structurally sound before fitting.
How does the brake work and when should I use it?
The brake is a side-operated locking mechanism that is engaged by pressing down with your foot and released by lifting. When activated, it locks the wheel to prevent rolling. It is recommended to fit at least two braked castors diagonally on any unit to ensure stable, balanced immobilisation when the equipment is stationary.
Sold individually. For most applications, a minimum of two braked castors per unit is recommended. If you require assistance selecting the correct castor for your application, please contact our team.
