Braked castors hold equipment in place once it has been moved. A wheel brake stops the wheel turning; a total-lock brake locks both the wheel and the swivel so the castor cannot roll or rotate.
A common set-up is two braked swivel castors at one end and two fixed castors or swivel castors at the other. Choose the same wheel size, height and load rating across the set so the equipment sits level.
