The white nylon wheel is best suited to smooth, hard floor surfaces including ceramic tile, polished concrete, laminate, and vinyl. It is not recommended for use on soft, uneven, or heavily textured surfaces, as nylon wheels perform optimally on firm, flat ground.
How does the brake mechanism work?
This castor features a side-operated foot brake. Pressing the brake lever down locks the wheel in place, preventing rotation and swivel movement. To release, simply lift the lever. The brake is designed for use when the equipment needs to remain stationary — it is not intended as a load-bearing safety device under dynamic conditions.
