This castor has no brake: most equipment has total lock castors on two corners and plain swivel castors like this one on the other two; the 80mm maroon polyurethane total lock castor has the same 108mm height and plate, so a mixed set sits level. For the load, add up the weight of the item and everything on it and divide by three rather than four, because on an uneven floor one castor is often lifted; if the answer is over 100kg, choose a larger wheel.
